Open State For MBBS & BDS Admission.

Open State For MBBS & BDS Admission: The general rule of MBBS & BDS Admission is that 15% of total intake Government colleges MBBS & BDS seats, 100% All India Deemed Medical & Dental Colleges MBBS & BDS seats & 100% Central university colleges MBBS & BDS seats are filled from All India Counselling.These seats are available to all the NEET qualified candidates. Any state candidate can take admission anywhere in India for the above mentioned seats through All India Couselling .This process is conducted by the medical counselling committee https://mcc.nic.in .
Remaining 85% of Government Medical & dental (MBBS & BDS) & 100% of private Medical & Dental colleges seats are filled through respective state & these seats are available to respective state candidates who are domicile or studying in that particular state.
However there are states which allow other state non-domicile candidates to apply for their state counselling for private medical & dental colleges seats, these states are called Open State.For taking Admission in these states one has to apply to that state counseling process.
Please Note : candidates are eligible only for private colleges MBBS & BDS seats & are not eligible for government college MBBS & BDS seats  & government quota MBBS & BDS seats in private colleges.

Following mentioned are few of the open states for MBBS counselling.

1- Andhra Pradesh  – Candidates are eligible for management quota (category B) seats , fees range between 11 to 15 lakhs per year
2- Telangana – Candidates are eligible for management quota (category 1) Seats, fees range between 11 to 14 lakhs Per year 
3- Karnataka - Candidates are eligible for both open category & as well as management quota (Q Category) seats, fees range for open seats is between 10 to 18 lakhs depending on college  & for management category 35 to 50 lakhs.
4- Rajasthan – Candidates are eligible for open quota seats  , fees range between 15 to 20 lakhs depending on college.
5-Haryana - Candidates are eligible for management quota, fees range between 15 to 22 lakhs.
6-Uttar Pradesh - Candidates are eligible for open quota seats , fees range between 10 to 20 lakhs.
7- West Bengal – Candidates are eligible for management quota seats. Total 60 lakhs package fees should be paid within two years.
8- Pondicherry – Candidates are eligible for management quota seats ,fees 16 lakhs  per annum.
9-Himachal pradesh – Fees 14.5 lakhs per annum
10-Bihar – Fees 13 to 15 lakhs per annum
11-Uttarkhand – Fees 13.5  to 15.8 lakhs per annum
12-Rajasthan – fees 13 to 18 lakhs per annum entry to other state candidates from second round
13-kerala – Fees 10 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum
14-Tripura - fees 9 lakhs per annum
15-Chattisgarh – fees 10 to 13 lakhs per annum.
16-Madhya Pradesh - fees 7 to 12 lakhs per annum entry to other state candidates from second round
