About MSBTE:

Maharashtra State Board for Technical Education (MSBTE) is autonomous governmental Educational organization operated under Higher and technical education department of Government of Maharashtra. The responsibility of this organization involves, to design and develop the curriculum for diploma, post diploma and advanced diploma programs. Advance Diploma in Technical & Analytical Chemistry:
It's a 1.5 years full time short term diploma course offered by MSBTE, Maharashtra. The course in divided into 3 semesters, 6 months of each.

Entry Qualification:

Passed Any B.Sc. Chemistry / Bio-Technology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology Life Sciences / Dairy Technology subjects either six units, three units, Two Units OR combination of other subjects from a recognized University/ Board or Diploma in Chemical Engineering (MSBTE) OR Environmental Engineering (MSBTE) OR its Equivalent. B.Pharm/D.Pharm/DMLT /Any B.Sc/ B.Tech (Dairy) or Diploma in Dairy Technology.

Job Opportunities after passing this course :

1. Analyst/ Chemist/ Q.C. Chemist in Chemical, pharmaceutical, food and paint industries in which quality control activity is carried out for raw, intermediate and finished products.

2. Analyst/ Chemist: in private/ public testing analytical laboratories.

3. Self Employment: Can start his/ her own public testing laboratory with approval of Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and carry out analysis as per the recommended standards of various chemical/ pharmaceutical/ food products
