Passed SSC? Want to become a Doctor now? Follow this Path.

First of all many congratulations to all the Students for clearing the 10th Board Examination.

Turning Point.

In a lifetime, a person comes across various turning points in life, like clearing his education degree, first job, marriage, etc. But the first & the most important turning point comes in everyone’s life is, once he or she clears the 10th board exam. Because now you decide what you have to become in the future, Lawyer, Doctor, CA, Engineer, etc. Accordingly, you will decide the stream to study further.

Journey to become a Doctor.

If you aim to become a good Doctor, then read the below exciting journey that needs to be followed.

Your 1st priority is to take admission in a good science stream college. Then must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/12th  Standard) or equivalent examination, from an Institution situated in India with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).

A Student belonging to Open Category must have obtained not less than 50%  (i.e. 150 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination).

As we all know that one of the gateways of the MBBS course is, students will have to appear & crack the NEET -National Eligibility Entrance Test exam & this Exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency-NTA.

The syllabus of NEET is from NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) textbooks. Mine advise to you all is, kindly start studying from the NCERT textbooks from now onwards. Make sure to practice Physics laws and Chemistry formulas repeatedly with complete understanding. Don’t try to mug-up.

When you will join coaching class then you will feel that you should just study biology but take my advice, Biology should not be your big tension as you will do it easily. What students do is that they ignore physics and chemistry. Remember biology will just give you a base score but physics and chemistry will give you ranks and selection.

So I am saying again to give the most priority to Physics and Chemistry from day one. Make a habit to revise & practice the chapters you learn in your college & coaching classes. Also, try to solve questions related to that topic.

This habit you will follow for the whole 2 years. Remember consistency is the key to success. Keep asking your teachers all your doubts from the very first day and continue doing it. Don’t hesitate in asking questions.

College Life.

We all dream about & seen in movies the fun and enjoyment in college life. As these 2 years will be the most beautiful & important journey of your whole life, so it’s up to you to how you are balancing your studies & fun. I will encourage you to enjoy & have fun in your college life but always remember that fun is just a small part of your college life, whereas the major part is your study. So have a ratio of 80:20 i.e. 80% studies & 20% fun. Do remember what I said about the turning point above.
