Four New Government MBBS Medical colleges coming up in Maharashtra


Four New Government MBBS Medical colleges will be coming up in Maharashtra State for 2021-22 Admission Session : Bringing good news to the MBBS aspirants in the State, Maharashtra Government is all set to set up four new Government medical colleges for the current academic year.

The four upcoming Government MBBS colleges are
1- Medical college at St George’s Hospital Mumbai  
2- GMC Satara (Pune region)
3- GMC Alibaug Konkan Region
4- GMC Sindhudurg Konkan Region

With the nod from National Medical Commission (NMC)  these medical colleges will have minimum 100 MBBS seats each.

Currently Maharashtra have a total number of 57 medical colleges. Among these, one is AIIMS one is AFMC 24 are Government, 1 is Government Aided 18 private & 12 are Deemed Medical colleges with total intake capacity of 9075 MBBS Seats.
