Al-Ameen Medical College - Bijapur is a Private (Muslim Minority) MBBS Medical College was established in 1984 ,the College is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences - Karnataka with total intact of 150 MBBS & 73 Post MBBS MD/MS/ Diploma seats.
Al-Ameen Medical College Bijapur was started in the year 1984, with the tireless efforts of Dr.Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, the Founder of Al-Ameen Movements.
The Medical College spread over total of two hundred acres of land on western hills of historical city of Bijapur and the campus spread over 200 Acres.
AAMC Bijapur has started Post Graduate courses in various disciplines which are also recognized by MCI. The Management and the staff of the College are looking ahead to make the Institution as one of the best medical institution of the country.

Infrastructure
Al-Ameen Medical College have four lecture theatres each capacity of 180 and one lecture theater in hospital of 200 capacity. All are of gallery type provided with air conditioners, audiovisual aids including overhead projector /LCD projector and Smart Board with microphone.
The lecture galleries are created in a manner that it has good visibility and audibility from all locations. There is stipulation of internet facility in the lecture theater for E-class teaching.
Library
The Central Library housed in a new building surrounded a place of pride in Al-Ameen medical College and is an crucial component of the Institute’s quality of outstanding research and education mission.
It is a spotless place in the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that allows learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes discovery and scholarship.
The Library is Centrally air-conditioned with plenty study area accommodating more than 300 students for reading. There are more than 11500 text books and reference books, and more than 100 national and international journals are subscribed yearly.
Photo copying facility is also available in this Library for the Students Convenient. This library also houses separate reading rooms for undergraduate, post graduate and faculty members.
Hostel
Al-Ameen Medical College hostels provide a decent and healthy ambience and a feel-good climate and are equipped with all facilities for living, dining and recreation that makes each patient feel at home.
This Medical College Hostel provide a right atmosphere for intellectual stimulation and balanced growth. Each hostel block is equipped with telephone connections, Room Furnishings, Each room is provided with a cot, wardrobe or closet, desk and chair, ID Cards.
Residents are usual to follow rules and regulations and exhibit acceptable form of behavior, maintain discipline and modesty in the hostel complex.
