Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences is located in Belgaum city in the state of Karnataka in India. The Belgaum city is located in the northwestern parts of Karnataka state and lies at the border of two states, Maharashtra and Goa. Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences started during 2005 in the land of 25 acers , in the building of District Hospital at Belgaum.
The Institute located on, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Road, Belgaum. BIMS Belgaum is recognized from Government of Karnataka and it is allied to Rajiv Gandhi University. The college building covers 12,712sq ft.
Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences vision is to evolve, organize and supervise, programes, to detect health problems, educate the public, regarding the control of various diseases which are prevalent in the country. And to support, organise and encourage, clinical and basic research programes, relating to the diagnosis and treatment of human ailments.

Hostel
BIMS College have separate hostels that are there for boys and girls. 2 guys in a room which is well and furnished with an attached bathroom. There are sufficient rooms for students and its cost is 9000 p. a paid 6 monthly in an installment of 500. The hostel has a recreation room with TV indoor games.
Has a gym and a study room too with a WIFI connection. The hostel is a very good option. It’s a five-floored building. Two guys will share a room. It will attached bathroom and toilet. There is a hot water facility. The rooms in the hostel are plenty. Everyone will get a room. Hostel costs about 9000 a year.

The Belgaum city is situated in the northwestern parts of Karnataka and lies at the border of two states, Maharashtra and Goa. It has a railway station and well connected by roads. It also has an airport which is located 10 kilometers east of Belgaum, the airport is also known as the Sambra airport.
