Infrastructure
There are 2 Examination halls are available with 250 capacity of each. It is built up with 250 sq.m. This examination hall has such facilities like CCTV Camera, CPU with Internet facility and copier machine for downloading and printing the question paper.
There are 3 Lecture theaters are available in Medical college and one in Hospital. It has the 200 capacity of each. This halls are fully gallery type halls with Audio Visual facilities.
Library
Kanachur Medical College Mangalore Library was built up with 2400 sq.m. Kanachur Medical College Library is fully Air conditioned. Working hours of KAMC Library is starting from 9 am to 11 pm for 6 days. Sunday also Library is opening to reading books for students.
Sunday’s working day starting from 9 am to 1 pm. KAMC Library totally has 6100 books with 1800 subtitles. It has 28 Indian journals and 12 foreign journals. Computerized catalogues are available in this Library as well as a card index are available for students.
Hostel
Men and women have separate hostel facilities within the campus. The rooms are well furnished with attached toilets and has a hygienic Mess facility round the clock. Hostels are available with a choice of individual and shared rooms.
Clean and Air conditioned rooms offer beds, wardrobes, study tables and chairs. There is 154 rooms available for UG students, 48 rooms for Resident, 60 rooms for Nurses each of these sharing upto 5 persons.
Teaching and Non teaching staffs, interns, Nurses and visitors are accommodated in well furnished rooms or quarters which is available on advance intimation and availability. Gender Harassment committee and Anti Ragging Committee and Bio metric devices are available in this college.
