Infrastructure

Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences campus has spread over 22 acres, this campus has college buildings built-in 42,910 sqm with three floors of buildings. Hospital and residential and Hostel complexes are built up with more than 16,000 sqm.

Hospital buildings are built with separate OPD blocks and College buildings are included with Demo rooms, Common rooms, Laboratory, Skill Lab, Computer Lab, Library, Auditorium, Examination halls, and etc.

Library

The library of this government medical college is built in 700 sqm. This has well structured with a stack room, inside the reading room and outside the reading room each with 75 students seating capacity.

Separated staff reading room with 75 staff seating capacity and PG reading rooms are available. Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences Library has 3100 medical books and a total of 20 Journals include with 14 Indian and 6 foreign journals are available.

The digital library is available with 25 computers with internet facilities for medical studies. The central photography section is also available with all equipment.

Hostel

Kodagu government medical college Hostel and residential complex are built inside the campus. There is a separate hostel available for both boys and girls, Hostels are provided with good water, a hygienic atmosphere, and good canteen facilities.

Other facilities like study rooms with computers and the internet, a recreation room with TV, Music and indoor games are available. Residential quarters for teaching and non-teaching staff with a capacity of 40 accommodation in each. Nurses Hostel available separately with 48 accommodations.

This government medical college has a spacious playground for outdoor games, there are 4 Badminton Courts available and Indoor games facilities are available. This college providing equipped Gymnasium facilities to the students.
