Infrastructure
This Medical College has an exclusive library with nearly 5000 collections covering all departments. The library resources contains a good collection of reference books, recommended books, textbooks, works such as encyclopedias, data books, dictionaries, catalogs, journal volumes, project reports, etc. Furthermore the library subscribes to 30 national and international journals.
Libary
This library can simultaneously accommodate 300 students. It provides a number of database entrees to the campus network, electronic resources and OPAC-related access to its larger collection. The student inside reading room provides comfortable seating capacity and also separate reading room facility for staff. It also has computers with internet access. Library opening timing from 8am to 8pm.
Hostel
Government Medical College Nagpur has separate hostels for boys and girls on campus. It has well-equipped rooms with all modern facilities, hygienic kitchen, nutritious meals, comfortable and a portable source of drinking water. 24 hours security with suitable hostels and CCTV cameras are placed around the clock for constant monitoring and vigilance for student safety. The Hostel is well protected by securities round the clock. The students are accommodated on sharing basis and well-maintained washrooms are located at each end of the corridor which is being maintained and kept clean by cleaning personnel.

Government Medical College Nagpur is situated in Ajni city, 940km South of Mumbai state capital of Maharashtra. Ajni is a railway station in locality of Nagpur in Maharashtra. It is located at a distance of about 2.8 km from Nagpur railway station. Nagpur is well connected by Road and Train networks as the Ajni bus stand is located 3km from the college which is about 15 minutes to travel. The Nearest Railway station is Ajni Railway station about 2.4 km away from the college with 6min travel. Nagpur has a Domestic Airport located 8.2 km from the College that takes 20 minutes drive.
