Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College and General Hospital - Pune is a Private MBBS Medical College was established in 2007 the College is affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik with total intact of 150 MBBS & 100 Post MBBS MD/MS/ Diploma seats.
Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College & General Hospital is located at Ambegaon, Narhe - Pune. It is founded by President Prof. M. N. Navale and named after the mother of Prof. M. N. Navale. In a very little course of time, this institution has achieved its reputation for academic performance & patient services, not only in Pune but all over Maharashtra.
We also conduct Post Graduate courses in the Subjects of Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Community Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Anesthesia, Radiology, Dermatology, Pulmonary Medicine, General Medicine and Pediatrics.
The hospital is spread over four buildings. The OPD blocks situated on the ground floor and respective wards are located from the first floor and above.We are providing all the facilities of the hospital in addition to two square meals to indoor.
Hospital was started in 2006 with just 300 beds & expanded to 1094 bedded hospital currently with 840 teaching beds, 80 ICU beds,40 Casualty beds, 20 beds for Oral and Maxillofacial surgery,64 Day Care beds, 2 Pain Clinic and 48 Recovery beds in O.T.

Libary
A Library is well equipped with books and up to date periodicals forms the backbone of any educational institution. At the heart of this premier institute lies the SKNMC Central Library stocking over 16,000 books and numerous national & online international journals.
It boasts of an area of above 3500 Sqm with three comfortable air-conditioned reading halls serving the UG & PG students and one exclusive for staff 24 hours a day with manned security. There are separate departmental libraries in each department having 100-200 books.
With a dedicated staff and budget the library satisfies the needs of both faculty and students in terms of content and conducive environment for gaining knowledge.
Hostel
The hostel facility is provided to the graduate/post graduate students of MBBS stream. The hostels are situated within the hospital and college campus at about 2 minutes walkable distance from college and hospital.
There are separate hostels for males and females, accommodating resident doctors also. The accommodation provided in the hostel room is a shared accommodation between 2-3 persons with attached toilet and bathroom.

In each hostel visitors room, study room and recreation room is available with all facilities.
A common mess facility with a dining hall is available to all the students. Some member or other of faculty / administration always dines in the mess and can check the quality and quantity of food being supplied to students.
The hostels and the mess are connected to electric generator to facilitate students for studies in case of power failure. A very high standard of hygiene and sanitation is maintained in the hostels and the mess. A high level of reasonable facilities is provided to make the students comfortable so that they can devote full attention to their studies.
We have common mess for students and staff members. It also caters to all the official guests, examiners and delegates of various conferences. There are two canteens which provide snacks and beverages to students, parents and relatives.
